Good language work is more than finding the right words. It takes subject knowledge, a feel for the reader, and a reliable way to bring the details together.

My background spans translation, localization, review, linguistic quality assurance and auditing. Today I work in-house as Language Lead and as a side-business build tools for the language industry, drawing on that experience in both.

I serve as Language Lead for two major, highly successful accounts within an LSP, bringing two decades of independent practice to a leadership role in language and localization.

Leading and mentoring linguist teams, resulting in improved translation quality and efficiency. Serving as the POC for clients on German language matters, managing client feedback and requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality service.

Translation, review, and audit of large localization projects, including UI, help content, marketing texts, subtitles; translation memory utilization; cultural adaptation of content. Providing and reviewing highly creative transcreations for high-visibility projects.
